CAN I PARTICIPATE?
Requirements
- Participants must be at least 16 years of age at the time of registration.
- Participants must identify as Christian and believe in Jesus Christ as Lord & Savior. Participants must ensure that their performance is solely faith-based, aligning with the mission and values of the competition. Only Christian acts will be considered and permitted into this competition.
- Currently, participants may only compete in one of the approved talent categories: song, dance, rap, and spoken word. Acts that fall outside of these categories will not be considered at this time.
- Along with Competition Day, participants must be available to fully engage in all the required virtual and in-person pre-competition events, including the annual publicity shoot and all contestant promotional interviews with press and media. Additionally, contestants must have reliable transportation to and from all events related to this competition.
HOW TO PREPARE
Technology
All auditions are conducted via Zoom. Ensure you have a reliable device and stable internet connection prior to your audition date. Ensure all audio and video settings on your device are functioning properly before you join the call.
Accompaniments
We do not provide any auditory accommodations or musical accompaniments for auditions. Please ensure you have arranged all instrumentals needed for your audition, prior to your call. However, you are not required to have accompaniments for your audition.
Presentation
Taste Of Talent is a Christian talent competition. No secular songs, lyrics, writings, or instrumentals will be permitted into this competition. Therefore, no secular auditions will be considered. Please ensure the audition piece you have selected to present is in accordance with the faith-based mission and values of this competition.
